Moran & Associates regards its relationships with its clients as long-term relationships, and we can only be successful if our clients achieve their objectives.Therefore, our first task is to gain a complete understanding of your needs and the expectations for the positions to be filled. Once that information has been learned, there are two methods for achieving results:

A fully-managed executive search process, which does require a retainer, enables the professional search executive to provide a complete and comprehensive evaluation of the entire labor pool. The process assures the best results as the search executive is able to directly contact all potential candidates to determine both interest and qualifications. As the process continues, additional candidates are referred and screened in accordance with initial parameters. Typically, we will screen from over 200 individuals until the top five or six are presented to the client. The fully-managed search process is highly recommended for director positions and above.

A contingency search process, often conducted using multiple firms, does not

 
allow the search professional to control the evaluation process. Rather than completing an evaluation of an entire labor pool, individuals are submitted for review as they surface from the recruiting effort. It does not enable the executive search professional to compare all of the potential qualified candidates.

Both processes will produce qualified executives that meet the expectations of the client. In most instances the fully-managed process is more thorough than the contingency process.

It has been estimated that over 86% of people in the management labor pool are already employed but might be interested in a new position. Executive search enables the hiring company to select key management and sales positions from the most qualified as opposed to limiting selection to only those who have responded to advertisements seen in newspapers or on the internet. Moran & Associates’ premace is that the most qualified individuals able to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations are too busy being productive to be looking for positions in the newspaper and/or the internet.
